If you're new here, welcome.
It's about damn time we got the long-format, deep-dive health conversations and holistic healing tools out into the world in a way that actually serves people—without the fluff, fear-mongering, or outdated advice.
If you know me, you know I rarely give a short and sweet answer. My default response is usually, “Well… yes and no.” That’s because health is nuanced. It deserves more than a black-and-white answer or a trendy headline.
There is so much noise out there when it comes to wellness—conflicting advice, influencers pushing questionable supplements, and a healthcare system that, for many, feels like a dead-end. My intention with this Substack is to cut through the chaos and offer grounded, practical, research-backed insight that also honors intuition and lived experience.
I want this space to be a home base. A place where you feel inspired, empowered, and educated—whether you're trying to get to the root of your own symptoms, support someone you love, or simply stay well in today’s toxic world.
Let’s be real: Everyone reading this either has a personal health story or knows someone close to them who’s struggling. I always say, if you don’t have your health, you truly have nothing. And unfortunately, most people don’t realize that until the symptoms start stacking up—until they’re faced with the limitations of a medical system that often treats symptoms rather than people.
That was me too.
I was sick for over 15 years. Dismissed, gaslit, and passed around from provider to provider without answers—until I finally received a Lyme diagnosis in 2021. And no, it didn’t come easy. I had to order a $900 out-of-pocket lab test from an independent company just to get a result that wasn’t “technically” valid under the CDC’s outdated model. Confusing? Absolutely. But sadly, it’s not uncommon.
Over the course of those 15 years, I estimate I spent around $75,000 on tests, supplements, IVs, peptides, prescriptions, acupuncture, chiropractic care, pelvic floor therapy, massage, and diet plans. Some helped. Most didn’t get to the root. And not one practitioner could put the full picture together until I started asking different questions—and became my own advocate.
I share this not to discourage, but to emphasize this truth: We are living in a deeply confusing era of medicine.
Western doctors call Eastern practitioners quacks. Eastern practitioners call Western medicine doctors “drug dealers” since their model of health is to treat, diagnose, and prescribe. And I’m standing in the middle like, “Can someone please tell me why we’re not working together?”
There is a time and a place for both. Yes, we need Western care. But I’d argue that 99% of people would benefit from starting with Eastern principles—nutrition, nervous system support, movement, breath work, detoxification, and sleep. These foundational tools are missing in conventional care, and our bodies are paying the price.
We live in a culture that worships hustle, lacks basic nutrition education, and exposes us to more toxins than any generation before us. Cancer rates are climbing, autoimmune diagnoses are becoming the norm, and we’re seeing young adults being diagnosed with conditions that once affected only older populations.
So what gives?
My answer: Society needs a massive awakening.
We need to reconnect with the rhythms of the earth.
We need to understand that our thoughts, beliefs, and environment influence our biology.
And most importantly, we need to stop outsourcing our intuition.
We have to become the lead investigators in our own health journeys.
That’s why I created my TPW Substack.
To be a beacon of hope and a source of truth in a noisy world. I’ll be sharing:
🌿 Holistic tools for healing at home
🩸 What your blood work is actually telling you
🌱 Remedies that support the body instead of fighting it
📚 Topics you won’t hear in your 15-minute doctor visits
💊 Supplement suggestions for common symptoms—with clarity and context
This is the space I wish I had when I was deep in the weeds—where healing felt lonely and overwhelming, and I just needed someone to say, “Here’s what’s actually going on, and here’s how to take the next step.”
If any of that resonates, I’d love to have you join the community. You can subscribe below to never miss a post and start reclaiming your health—without the confusion, without the fear, and definitely without the BS.
Let’s change the way we approach wellness, one real conversation at a time.
In good health,
Morgan
